Creating Continuity, Stability and Reliability from Difficult Times
Make decisions that are yours
Separation can be a very unsettling time for everyone concerned. It is a time when decisions need to be made, ones that will affect your future, the future of your child/children and even household pets. Mediation is a practical alternative to a lengthy and expensive legal process. It can also be used to shorten a legal process.
At the Centre for Mediation, we aim to create continuity, stability and reliability about every aspect of your separation. We want you to arrive at your own decisions about the future care of your child/children and/or the division of property and finance. We will guide you through the process, easing the burden of what may be one of the most difficult times in your life.
Our facilitative process helps you to find the initiative, flexibility and a collaborative spirit to reach consensual agreements. We will ask questions to encourage discussions concerning your issues. We will work tirelessly towards possible solutions generated by you, helping you to avoid deadlocks and breakdown in communication.
At the Centre for Mediation, we use a proven approach to problem solving that identifies and explores the issues that the separation has triggered. We know that even the smallest incremental compromise can sometimes be the most powerful.
